“Janela” (2019-2020) is a project conceived in the context of the artistic residency project GRÃO (Albergaria-a-Velha), which took place between October and November 2019. In “Janela 1”, a transparent fabric painted with India ink and gold leaf was installed on a tree, in a border location (between types of vegetation) where light integrates the composition. The work investigates the Japanese and Afro-Brazilian traditions of his grandmothers, who became enchanted in a similar period, and the expansion of his plastic vocabulary.
