Presenting Your Artistic Practice: Communicating Clearly for Opportunities and Audiences

130,00

Presenting Your Artistic Practice is a two-part online workshop designed to help artists communicate their work with clarity, confidence and purpose. Whether it's writing a statement, preparing a proposal or presenting to curators, galleries or the public, the way you talk about your practice matters. Drawing on their combined experiences as a curator and gallerist, Alessio and Stephanie will guide participants through key tools for presenting their work - in writing, in person and online. You'll learn how to write impactful bios and statements, contact galleries and navigate issues such as pricing, visibility and professional presentation. This workshop is especially welcoming for artists who express themselves in English as a second language and for those seeking more humane and accessible approaches to professional artistic practice.

What you will learn:

How to write clear and confident bios and statements
How to present your work professionally - online and in person
How to contact galleries and send effective proposals
✓ How to choose (or be) a curator
✓ How to price your work + talking to collectors
Strategies for artists communicating in English as a second language

...and much more!
