Since 2021, Natália Loyola has dedicated herself to geological studies, considering the scientific context and how they interact with the visual arts. From the artist's point of view, language is a geological force that shapes subjective and, therefore, social relationships. The way they produce their narratives, speeches and vocabulary is connected to geological structures. Her studies on the Earth's “crust” involve a look that moves towards the interior of a body, focusing on the surface of an organism and, later, delving deeper into its underground layers. Natália lives and works in Almada, Portugal.
