Eduardo is a biologist from São Paulo (Brazil) and is currently working on his project “Ecótones”, in which he explores the relationships between arts and sciences in order to dissolve dividing lines and create a universe of contact with nature. His research brought him to Brazilian biomes such as the Pantanal, the Cerrado and the Atlantic Forest, as well as other destinations across the country. Photography has always played an important role in his travels. Thus, he uses his camera as a tool to express his imagination, but also as a way to build a didactic repertoire. Its objective is to expose the beauty of nature through sensitive images, highlighting its organic structures and singularities. For Eduardo, the union between art and biology is an interdisciplinary way of understanding the world, making us more aware, responsible and sensitive beings.
