Affordable Art Fair

The first edition of the Affordable Art Fair took place in Battersea Park, in London, in October 1999. At first, the fair had an audience of 10 thousand people interested in buying art. These include original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

After all these years, the Affordable Art Fair takes place in more than 10 cities around the world, including London, New York, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Brussels, Singapore, Stockholm, Melbourne and Sydney, with two new fairs to open coming soon to Shanghai and Berlin.

In each of its editions, the fair welcomes thousands of art enthusiasts and provides a wide variety of art. They feature established and emerging artists in a mix of local, national and international galleries with affordable artwork.

The Affordable Art Fair is an opportunity to discover emerging artists and galleries at an affordable price. It encourages the democratization of art and its consumption.

The vernissage takes place on November 12th. For more information on the fair's timetable, go to the website.

Abertura: “Sobre a Proporção das Formas”

Opening: "On the Proportion of Shapes"

OPENING: Exhibition "On the Proportion of Shapes", with artist Flávia Regaldo

We are pleased to invite everyone to the opening of ON THE PROPORTION OF SHAPES, solo exhibition of Flavia Regaldo at Coletivo Amarelo, curated by Giulia Lamoni and Margarida Brito Alves.

Continuing his research into the interconnection between the practice of printmaking and the critical observation of mineral life, in the exhibition About Proportion of Shapes, Flavia Regaldo (Belo Horizonte, 1984) brings together recent works from the series Slide and Morphologicalby putting them in dialogue with three-dimensional pieces. The set of works on show explores different materialities and proposes an unfolding or expansion of printmaking itself and its processes, while at the same time questioning the notions of time, memory, affection and landscape, as well as the relationship we create with them.

We look forward to seeing you!

Saturday, October 25, from 6pm to 9pm, at Coletivo Amarelo, in Marvila, Lisbon
