IMPRESSÕES DE EDIÇÃO LIMITADA DE MANOEL QUITÉRIO

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS BY MANOEL QUITÉRIO

Discover the Art of Tarot by Manoel Quitério at Coletivo Amarelo

Our latest exhibition, PATHS OF RETURN, presents the captivating work of Manoel Quitério. Born in Recife, Brazil, Manoel's delicate paintings explore his ancestry, connections with the world of dreams and his personal internal universe.

The exhibition features 22 pieces, including Manoel's unique interpretation of the tarot's major arcana. Traditionally centered around Eurocentric and masculine symbols of power, Manoel's tarot deck reimagines these figures through an Afro-Brazilian lens, celebrating the feminine power and spiritual richness of Candomblé. His magnetic, almost hypnotic drawings bring a fresh, vibrant perspective to the classic European tarot tradition that has been a subject of fascination for centuries.

We are excited to announce the availability of limited edition fine art prints of Manoel's tarot deck. Each print is part of a small edition of 7, signed and numbered by the artist, offering collectors a unique opportunity to own a piece of this extraordinary work. The prints capture the essence of Manoel's artistic vision, mixing religious syncretisms with a celebration of African heritage.

Experience the Tarot: Past, Present and Future

In addition, we invite you to engage with the tarot in a personal and meaningful way through our option to pick and choose three different cards, representative of your past, present, and future. We are happy to assist you with choosing your three cards, providing more in depth information of the meanings of each card. This experience is not only a way to gain personal insight but also a chance to acquire a truly special piece of art.

As a gallery, Coletivo Amarelo is committed to making art collecting accessible and supporting emerging artists. We believe that the best way to support artists is to purchase their work, and we are here to make this process easy and enjoyable for you.

The exhibition features 22 pieces in which Manoel presents his interpretation of the major arcana of tarot cards, as well as other new works.

But what kind of return are we talking about? In many cultures, ancestry is a primordial concept that permeates all spheres of social life, reflecting a broad understanding of the human being and the universe, from the closest family relationships to the broadest and most diverse social relationships. and community practices. We refer, therefore, to the return to Afro-diasporic ancestry, in which the artists present in this exhibition are inserted..” Cristiana Tejo
