The exuberant beauty of the Portuguese coast is the surroundings, in the small village where the artist lives, in Cascais. The landscapes of the coast of Guincho and Cabo da Roca are present in many of his works. The memory of the gigantic ocean separating her from her affective roots present in Brazil, and the uncertainty of her return caused by the pandemic, added a layer of melancholy to the paintings, which, despite being exuberant, are always depopulated.<\/p>\n
The \u201cIn\u00fatil Landscape\u201d series was created in reference to the song of the same title by Ant\u00f4nio Carlos Jobim.<\/p>\n
