Collection: Gianlluca Carneiro
Gianlluca Carneiro is a visual artist originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil. He began painting at the age of six and currently makes paintings, prints and collages. Carneiro is also a history teacher at a municipal school in Espírito Santo, Brazil where he uses his artistic practice to teach students about art. His work has been featured in local and international publications and he was a finalist for the Doncaster Art Fair. Gianlluca goes under the name "Cabeça Vazia", meaning "empty head" in Portuguese, which is the embodiment of the artistic universe created by him. The name is a play on the popular saying "empty head, the devil's workshop". Gianlluca currently lives and works in Espírito Santo, Brazil.
